East Lake Closed

    East will open April 21st, however, ice cover can take time to melt. I have heard good things for fishing East early right when it opens, and ice free. Wooley Buggers can be fantastic out there early. When summer arrives, strong prolific hatches of Callibaetis hatch typically from late June through September. The Callibaeits hatch on East is amazing. Another awesome feature of East lake is, there are rainbows, browns, atlantic salmon, and kokanee. We are all looking forward to fishing East again this coming season!
