I was on the water today with a couple old buddies Walt Ramage and Derek Fergus. The fishing was a little tough. We only got a couple fish in the boat. Walt give the famous "last cast" call... the indicator went down and one of the fattest cranebows I've seen this season came rolling out of the water. I think he was attempting to jump, but he was just too fat. We were fishing a 5 wt rods and 5x tippet so the pressure was on. Walt fought the fish perfect. This 29 inch,12-13 lb cranebow put smiles on the faces of some good friends.
