Upper Deschutes Report

   Upper Deschutes has been fishing pretty good. There are some Blue wing olives flying around along with some small caddis. Nymphing the usual stonefly nymph with a mayfly dropper can produce. Don't be hesitant to throw some streamers also because there are some big browns lurking in the Deschutes. May 25th will be the opening of the Deschutes from Benham Falls upstream all the way to Little Lava lake. Good news is there is plenty of water around town to fish. Get out there and enjoy!
