Crooked is back in shape
The Crooked river is at 330cfs as of this writing. This is down significantly from the levels we saw a week or so ago. The fishing was tougher with the high flows, but some who ventured out had success nymphing small mayflies and egg patterns. The BWO hatches should happen in the early afternoon hours and with the water stabilizing the fishing should be better on the surface. This is a great place to spend a winter day chasing trout, just keep up with the conditions on our website and if it's stable or has dropped after high water, get out there.
