The Crooked has been producing some decent catches during the annual whitefish spawn, but the water has spiked a bit in the last few days. The fishing slowed a bit with the fish being a bit unsettled during these slight rising water events. The level is not exceedingly high and the river will fish great if we can get a couple stable days. Watch the flows here on our website and keep up on what's it's doing out there. There should be some good BWO hatches in the afternoon hours and small egg patterns will continue to work well.
