The Fall will continue to fish well over the winter months. There have been some decent reports coming from this spring creek, but each day is a bit different. The BWO hatches have happened with some regularity and soon the will be some small winter stones around as well. Keep a sharp eye on what's flying around as things can change fairly fast on this river. The fish will continue to take midges and small nymphs fished near the bottom on most days, but don't overlook swinging soft hackles or streamers. Basically bring every thing you have and carefully figure it out. This is a great stop after a few runs on the hill and makes for a fun, full day in Central Oregon.
