The Fall conditions are the best of the best.

This Spring Creek continues to fish well, as the conditons are rarely effected by melt water or rain. There are a few stones hatching as well as BWO's and Midges. The clear waters will allow you to spot your quarry, but remember to approach cautiously and from the downstream side. Light tippets and long leaders will help not to alarm those wise fish, who have seen a bit of pressure over the last few weeks. The river has been busier than normal with the Crooked being out of shape, but it's always nice to spend a few hours on such a clear stream that harbors good numbers of fish to keep you interested.
