The Met is a good bet

The Metolius is in good shape and the fishing has been good. Of course when I say good, I mean a few fish to hand, trout or Bulls. This is rarely a numbers fishery and the fish can be finicky and tough to convince, but it is always a pleasurable day here. Nymph tactics, using large golden stones or Oct. Caddis Pupa for weight, combined with smaller mayflies and midges are a good bet. The BWO hatch is usually around 1 pm, so watch for the riser's. The Bull Trout have fallen to big streamers and a variety of nymphs, like steelhead fishing, you just need to find where they like to hold.
