The Metolius River has been fishing good as of late. Bull trout fishing has been pretty consitent. Nymphing a big bug and a small dropper normally does the trick. Sometime these bulls like really small stuff. Little copper johns and serendipity's are good little patterns. Streamer fishing can still be good with big white streamers. Look to fish the deeper pools and runs.
Trout fishing can also be really good this time of year with Bwo's and midges. Look for working fish and keep your eye out for other bugs. The road access has been good down there so you wont have to worry about too much snow.
