The one and only

It seems that this winter the one and only fishery that kept producing was the Fall. It's a small, short river, so when others are out of shape, it can get a bit "crowded". The few miles that are open just don't handle great numbers of anglers. With that said, the fishing has been good, and most anglers here are friendly and willing to share the water. The BWO hatch has been consistent with things starting about the 1 or 2pm time frame. It won't last all that long, especially if the skies are clear, so get there in time to see the fish working on top. If the surface activity never materializes, try some nymphs down low. A small stone up front, especially with some weight, along with midges, and small mayfly patterns behind have been successful. There is always the streamer deal too, toss these along cut banks and downed logs, really any in stream cover.
