The remaining portion of the LD opens April 23rd

Opening day is this Saturday along the borders of the Warm Springs Reservation. This is an exciting time, as this marks another start to a great season in the D. Redsides, Canyon scenery and wonderful float trips await. The first weekend can be "crowded", but usually most are just soaking up the scenery with cocktail in hand. If you fish hard, you will catch fish. Remember things are a bit higher than normal, so look to soft waters closer to the banks. Stonefly nymphs along with a variety of droppers should catch fish. The March Browns and BWO's may appear around 1-2pm, so watch closely for bugs and rise forms.
