Bull trout fishing on the Metolius is in full swing. Nymphing and throwing large ugly streamers is the best way to target these aggressive fish. With lots of kokanee in the system, egg patterns and flesh flies should work as well. The best water to fish for Bulls is below Wizard Falls Hatchery.
Trout fishin' is pretty good using small Bwo's, and nymphing mayfly nymphs. Stonefly nymphs work well for both trout and Bulls. The Metolius can fish quite well this time of year so don't hesitate to give it a shot.
