Upper Deschutes

Fall is a great time to throw streamers on the Upper Deschutes. From in town to below Benham falls can surprise you. There are some big Browns that patrol this section of river. Not many, but worth the time to try and find one. Scupzillas, scuplins, and articulated leeches are good streamer patterns to use. Stripping these big flies can entice those bigger fish to eat. If your tired of catching lots of smaller fish on dries around here, try a streamer!
