Metolius Report

The Metolius River just received their first reports of Wild Sockeye Salmon that have returned to the Metolius to spawn. Chinook Salmon are expected to be in the Metolius by the end of 2013. With this crazy news said, fishing has been good for the Metolius. Bull trout in good numbers and insect activity high, there are plenty of options when fishing the Metolius this time of year. If big fish and streamers get your attention, then fish for the Bull trout. If dry fly fishing for large wild trout get you going, then bring your A game and knowledge for identifying  insects. Green Drakes, Bwo's, October Caddis, and Pmd's are just a few of the bugs you will see out there. October so far has been beautiful and to top it off check out the Metolius River sometime!
