Rumor of Glacier Melt on the D

    Yesterday I got a report from a guy that mentioned the Lower Deschutes will be blown out from glacier melt from Mt. Jefferson. This glacier melt pushed through the main reservoirs and is currently going into the Lower Deschutes. I have already heard reports that the Deschutes is getting murky. This will put a damper on fishing till at least Nov.1st, when surface withdraw will be taken from the reservoir. My best advice would be to let this pass before fishing the D again. If you do make it down there, we would love to hear your report of how fishing was and water conditions.
