Finally

With the recent heat, Crane seems to be turning on a bit.  Very warm surface temps are forcing fish into the channels, making them easier to find.  I fished the lake last night with Scott Lewis and we had a productive evening.  Decent action on chironomids and one nice fish at last light that ate a small bugger.  12-15 feet of water was best.  Most of the fish we caught were small rainbows and kokanee.  However, a couple nicer rainbows graced us with their presence and we had one distance release of a large fish that we never saw.  With fairly stable weather in the forecast, Crane should just continue to get better.  Enjoy!
