Hosmer Report
It doesn't get much better than being out on Hosmer lake during a summer evening. Hosmer has been fishing so solid. Every report I have been hearing from there has been promising. The usual callibaetis/damsel dry this time of year can make for some awesome dry fly fishing. Crystal buggers in crazy colors can also do some damage. Yellow, white, and red can entice those Atlantic salmon to eat. If you want a little more solitude, focus on fishing early morning's or late evening's to avoid the kayak and stand up paddle boarders. The word on the street is that Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife stocked some cutthroat in Hosmer. That's a pretty cool opportunity if you can catch a Cutthroat, brook trout, and atlantic salmon in the same day. And yes that's a challenge so let us know if you can pull it off!
