Fishing the Fall

The Fall river is never a bad option for a half day or full day fishing trip. Only being about a forty five minutes worth drive, your fishing in no time. Fall river can be challenging and has been lately. Spring fed, fewer fish, less bug activity, tight casting situations, and moody fish. The fish on the Fall river can be moody like chicks. You think you know what they want and they turn their head with rejection. Thinking outside the box is sometimes what it takes to catch fish on the fall. Here are a few examples: glo-bugs, brightly colored streamers, san juan worm, super tiny midges, and etc. If you find fish on the Fall stay with them. Sometimes it looks as if there are no fish at all on the Fall, and as soon as you come around the corner there they are. Can't catch fish wining and complaining so get out there and do it!
