Metolius Report
The Metolius River has been fishing good. Bull trout are present and are aggressive enough still to take a streamer. There will be a point where nymphing for them will be more productive. Nymphing small nymphs can be the most productive for catching the bulls. Little Serendipitys, Copper Johns, Pheasant Tails, and Lightning bugs are some patterns to use. Trout fishing can be great during the winter months as well. Bwo's will be the main hatch. The Metolius has awesome access and is a beautiful fishery.
