Upper D In-Town

    I love how Bend's backyard has the Deschutes River. We are lucky that in if we need to fish, ten minute drive or less, and we are standing in the Deschutes River. The town water holds rainbows and browns that normally cooperate pretty well. Nymphing a stonefly nymph with a little mayfly dropper is a fantastic technique for around here. There should be some Bwo's flying around. Streamers are never a bad idea either. Remember, you don't always have to go a long ways to go fish!
