Winter on the Crooked
Im sure there will be a lot of folks getting new fishing gear for Christmas. There is nothing better than trying out near gear for the first time, especially if it's a first time fly-fishing. With that said, the Crooked River is picture perfect if you are just beginning to fly-fish. Low water this time of year makes it easy to wade and access the river. There are good hatches of Bwo's and midges during these snow-cold winter months. Nymphing little bugs seems to always produce as well. Get on out there!
