No doubt about it!
This is the place where you will consistently see good water conditions. This may be a good and bad thing, as when other rivers are a bit off, this small fishery will see lots of anglers. This makes the Fall an interesting place to spend the day. Clear, soft water, combined with a fair number of anglers can make for some tough conditions. Be patient and watch closely. There has been a decent hatch of BWO's around 1pm or so. Be in a good spot at that time and watch for rising fish. Make your presentations carefully and long, light leaders will help. The winter stone hatch seems to be winding down, but blue wings and midges have kept fish looking up, especially for a couple hours in the afternoon.
