Tough Goin'
Well, this river has been a tough go all winter long. Again this week we have high, off color water. As of this writing the river is over 900cfs. The good news is the levels above the reservoir are dropping, so this should lead to the levels below the dam dropping, if we don't see more rain. The forecast does not look great this next week, but the weather man can make mistakes too. Anyway, there are probably better options in the area right now, but if you go, hope for a hatch of BWO's in the early afternoon, nymph midges, scuds, olive hare's ear, in sizes 16-20 all day or you can also strip buggers and leeches and cover some water, you might just run into a bigger fish.
