Crooked is in good shape

The Crooked has been in good shape over the last week or so. The level at this point is 220 cfs out of the dam. This is higher than the summer flows, but a very fishable level. It's more important to have stability than actual low water. The BWO hatches should be in the early afternoon hours and nymph tactics can keep you busy before that hatch actually happens. Egg patterns, scuds and smaller mayfly patterns have been the ticket.
