Spring Creek Fun

The Fall river will be a good place to look this week as waters are rising in most other rivers. There should be some BWO hatches and a few small stones around. Most activity will be around the warm parts of the day. "Bankers Hours" makes it a nice day at a relaxing pace out here. If the fish are not cooperating, look to midges, mays and stones fished under indicators or strip some streamers by undercuts and log jams. Remember the river below the falls is closed. The easiest access will be around the hatchery and there are usually lots of fish in this part of the river. For the more adventurous, look to the pull outs above and near the springs.
