Slowly Shaping Up
The Crooked is at 900 cfs and has continued to drop over the last week. It is taking some time to flush all that water that appeared a couple weeks back. The fishing should pick up once we see levels stabilize under the 500 mark and around 300 or less is optimum. Beatis hatches should continue and fishing small nymphs under an indicator will produce as well. Scuds, Cooper Johns, PT's and midges all should get some play. The BWO's should be in the 18 size range and usually appear in the early afternoon hours.
