I fished with a friend yesterday and the water temps (58.5 - 59) have gotten too high for great bull trout action. We landed 8 bulls, 8 decent smallmouth, and about 10 kokanee. Not a bust, and there are probably still a few to be caught on the fly, but I would put bull trout on the calendar for next April & May and concentrate on Lava, Crane, and the Deschutes. Still, what a great fishery . . .
