Good to Go!

Each day the snows melts a bit more, as of last week you can get a boat into Quinn River, and Rock Creek should be close if not already open as of today. The fishing has been a bit slow to start, but there have been a few good days reported. There are still a lot of fish spawning, so it may be a couple more weeks until all are done and back feeding. The Chironomid action typically is slow until the first good warm stretch in June. You can strip bugger's and damselfly's on sinking line, this covers lots of water and is a great searching technique. If you find a few fish in a specific area, set up the Chironimid rod's and try that too.
