Just spent four days floating from Trout Creek to Harpham. The big bugs are still out in force all the way down to the Maupin area. Our group had incredible weather with temps in the 80s and virtually no wind. A light overcast made things very pleasant as well. The fishing? Well, it was pretty silly. One stop of the boat yesterday yielded over 30 fish between two anglers fishing stonefly dries! Once again, Jon did an amazing job of setting up camp and cooking some of the best camp food you could imagine. The dry fly fishing is peaking this week on the entire lower river--get out there!
