Good fishing at Hosmer

Hosmer has been fishing well lately.  Get out there as early as possible to avoid the kayak traffic.  Concentrate your efforts in the channel and along the banks with callibaetis and damsel nymphs.  As temperatures increase, we will begin to see bug activity increase as well, and hopefully get some consistent surface activity.  Stripping wooly buggers with an intermediate sinking line can produce fish in the middle of the day, and sometimes entice some of the larger brook trout and Atlantic salmon in the lake.
