Lava Lakes
The Fishing at the Lava lakes has been fairly consistent, but it will substantially increase once the weather improves and air temperatures increase. Right now, use an intermediate sinking line with wooly buggers, callibaetis nymphs, and damsel nymphs. However, keep your eye out for rising fish. Callibaetis hatches should improve, and surface activity should increase once the weather gets a little hotter. Also, always have some ant patterns when your heading out to the Lava lakes. Give it a few weeks, and most of the Cascade Lakes will be in awesome shape.
