Bout time for some Streamers!
Fall on Hosmer lake is one of the best times to throw streamers. Bright colored streamers can really get the Brook trout and Atlantic salmon going. Use different stripping patterns until you find one that is producing. Sometimes three fast strips and then a pause can be good. Other times, single slow strips can be the ticket. Evening's and morning's on Hosmer is the best time for fishing so get out there early and late. Good streamer patterns and buggers to have on Hosmer are: Micky Finns, Crystal Buggers, Scupzillas, Hale Bopp Leech, Scuplins, and Bunny leeches. If streamer fishing is your thing, go give it a shot at Hosmer.
