Dry Fly Fun
Did a half day trip yesterday morning on East. Fishing was surprisingly good! Callibaetis spinners and duns had fish looking up all morning. There was just enough of a wind ripple on the lake to make the fish slightly less selective. Larry fished dries exclusively from the bow of my boat and rose numerous browns, rainbows, and Atlantics to his flies. We found most of our fish within 20 feet of shore and within close proximity to weed beds. Best flies were small Parachute Adams, Hackle Stackers, and Film Critics.
