Fall on the Fall River
Fall river has been fishing excellent! Lots of dry fly activity this time of year. We have been seeing little bwo's, pmd's, gnats, and little terrestrials. Size 18 to 20 on dries have been best. If you have any small ant or beetle patterns don't be hesitant to give them a shot. Sometimes throwing flies these fish haven't seen can be a great way to get hooked up. Big flashy streamers thrown under logs and banks can entice some pigs out there. Fishing should continue to improve out on the fall into the winter months.
