Flies to have right now for trout on the met consist of: Golden Stones, Blue Wing Olives, Pale Morning Duns, Caddis, October Caddis, Yellow Sally, Midges, Fall Green Drake, Mahogany Duns, and etc.. The best thing you can do is to observe what the hell is going on. Watch what the fish are feeding on and the bugs that are hatching. Never a bad idea to bring a book called "Hatch Guide For Western Streams" which we carry in the shop. Bull trout are also present right now and are super fun and exciting to fish for. Cast streamers on a six to eight weight rod or nymph big ugly stones and little beadhead trailers. Below Bridge 99 is your best location to chase the bull trout.
