Buggers on Lava

     Fall lake fishing can be extremely productive. I can't stress enough on how good stripping buggers can be. Olive, rust, black, and wine colored buggers can be amazing. For the fly tiers out there experiment tying up some unique colors and fishing them. Cooler temperatures will decrease a lot of the bug hatches. Midges and ants should still be around this time of year on lava. Fall fishing can be amazing on lava so don't miss out and try giving it a shot.
