Warmer, more stable weather is getting the Lava 'bows going again. I fished it Friday and caught them on every stop. Onseys - twoseys, but very consistent throughout the day. Our Saturday group had a great time with everyone catching fish both morning and afternoon while enjoying a great shore lunch in between. Muchas gracias to Janie Cook for the bacon wrapped fillet mignon, garlic bread, and home-made salads and cookies. Beat the heck out of the tuna sandwich in my cooler. Meanwhile, back on the water, the calebaetis are starting come off in decent numbers and the trout are readily taking them when the water is flat. Nymphing chironomids and 'baetis emergers is consistent when the surface action slows down. If it gets breezy, wind-drifting leeches on intermediate lines has been productive. Tight lines. - Jeff
