Crooked Report

It seems like the Crooked has finally settled into summer mode.  The fishing is predictable and productive.  While the sun is on the water, nymph rigs fished shallow are the ticket.  Any small mayfly nymph/midge pupa combo has been producing lots of strikes.  Caddis and PMD hatches in the evenings or days with cloud cover are bringing fish to the surface.  Don't expect any monsters out here, but these little natives pull hard for their size.  Bring your three weight and have a blast!
