Fall River Fishin'

The Fall has been fishing well lately.  We have been seeing decent numbers of PMDs in the mornings/evenings, and strong baetis hatches in the afternoon.  When the hatch is off, we are searching for rising fish with attractor dry fly patterns such as: humpy's, parachute adams', and purple hazes.  Nymphing with caddis pupa or small mayfly nymphs can be productive when the surface activity is slow.  Never hesitate to throw streamers behind logs or along the cutbanks, you might just fool one of the those big Fall River Browns!  Always travel with insect repellent on the Fall because there are a lot of mosquitoes out there this time of year.  If you want to fish the evening, a head-net isn't a bad idea.  Tight Lines!
