The Crooked continues to fish really, really well. The trout are growing quickly this summer. Yeah, we still are seeing lots of 6 inch fish, but there are enough 12-15 inch trout to keep you on your toes! Winker midges, small pheasant tails, lightning bugs have been the productive nymphs. Dries that imitate PMDs have been rising plenty of fish in the evenings. The canyon was very smokey last week due to the fire on the Indian Reservation. Hopefully the winds will shift and keep the smoke to a minimum.
