Goldens, PMD's and BWO's on the Met!
The Metolius river is one of those rivers where if you catch a few fish, that is a fantastic day. On the Met we have been seeing Golden Stones, PMD's (Pale Morning Dun's), and Blue Wing Olive's. Make sure to have a couple different patterns because the fish on the Metolius are finicky. Nymphing patterns that have been best are golden stonefly nymphs, hares ears, and a serendipity nymph. Bull trout can be caught nymphing for trout and of course don't forget the Streamers!!
