Don't Forget The Lava Lakes.....

My dad showed me Little Lava lake at a young age and has always been favorite for me. Both Lava lakes can give you solitude and a great opportunity to catch trout. Callibaetis patterns, damsels, leech patterns, and black ants are flies you should have when going out there. Intermediate sinking line is best for fishing sub-surface flies. Trolling or stripping in woolly buggers is an easy way to catch fish and gives you the opportunity to look up and enjoy the Cascade Mountains that loom in the distance.
