I was out at Ranch in the Canyon today with the Hoffmann family. Jim and his three boys had a decent day on the ponds at the Ranch, but not many fish to hand to show for their efforts. We had our success on Wooly Buggers, exclusively, which were a bit big for the two younger boys to throw, but Gus, the eldest Hoffmann boy, had decent luck with trout on one of the ponds with the bugger and caught a nice large mouth bass on another of the ponds to start the day.
